About Function Generator

The Function Generator is capable of Providing SINE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE. Low Distortion Function Generator has linear Frequency Scale very low Distortion and constant signal amplitude with the output Signal Symmetry about Zero. The DC coupled output provides square wave without any appreciable Sag at low frequency. It has maximum 20 VP/P amplitude. The output is protected against short circuit. It has a offset control provided to shift the base line of signal by 10 volts. The continuously variable DC offset control further enhances the versatility of the instrument. The equipment is used in Audio Electronics and other Laboratory & Research Work. Moreover, we are looked upon as one of the major Portable Function Generator Manufacturers & Exporters in India

Key Features and Performance

Delivering a broad frequency spectrum from 1 Hz to 10 MHz, this function generator is engineered for precision signal generation. Users can easily select between sine, square, and triangle waveforms and apply up to 10 dB output attenuation steps. The CE-certified construction emphasizes operational safety and reliability, making it well-suited for demanding environments.

User-Friendly Operation and Build Quality

A prominent digital display enhances readability, while manual frequency selectors allow straightforward adjustments. The device combines a sturdy metal body with an ABS plastic front panel, offering both durability and a modern appearance. Its compact dimensions and approximately 3 kg weight support easy placement on any workbench.

FAQs of Function Generator:

Q: How do I adjust the duty cycle on the square wave output?

A: The function generator features dedicated controls that let you adjust the duty cycle for the square wave output. By modifying these settings, you can tailor the pulse widths to fit your specific testing or signal requirements.

Q: What are the primary applications for this function generator?

A: This model is suitable for testing, development, and troubleshooting in electronic laboratories, educational settings, and production environments. Its continuous frequency range, stable output, and multiple waveform options cater to a wide array of signal generation needs.

Q: When should I use the 10 dB attenuator steps?

A: The 10 dB attenuator steps are useful when you need to vary output amplitude to match your downstream equipments input level or to simulate different signal conditions during testing and calibration processes.

Q: Where can this function generator be safely used?

A: Certified to CE safety standards, the generator operates reliably in laboratory and industrial environments across India. It is designed for safe use in ambient temperatures from 0C to 55C.

Q: What materials are used in the construction of this function generator?

A: The main housing is fabricated from robust metal for longevity, while the front panel is made of ABS plastic for ease of handling and modern aesthetics.

Q: How does the digital display enhance the user experience?

A: The digital display provides clear, precise readings of frequency and other key settings, making it easier for users to make accurate adjustments and monitor the generators output during operation.

Q: What are the benefits of the <50 ns rise/fall time for the square wave?

A: With a rise/fall time of less than 50 ns, the square wave output maintains sharp transitions, ensuring accurate pulse representation and improved performance in high-speed or timing-sensitive applications.
