Advanced Temperature Control for Laboratory PrecisionThis water bath is equipped with either a hydraulic capillary or a digital microprocessor-based controller, enabling finely-tuned thermostatic temperature regulation. The accurate display (digital or analog) provides clear readings, while a responsive feedback system maintains uniformity within 1C, making it highly dependable for sensitive laboratory protocols.
Superior Build and Efficient DesignBoasting a double-walled chamber with inner stainless steel (SS 304) and an outer mild steel (powder coated) or stainless steel casing, the bath maximizes durability and minimizes heat loss. Glass wool or PUF insulation further enhances energy conservation, maintaining stable internal temperatures and ensuring long-term reliability in demanding settings.
Comprehensive Safety and User-Friendly FeaturesThe inclusion of over-temperature protection and a low water level cut-off system safeguards both user and sample integrity. Its immersion heater, simple lift-up insulated lid, removable racks, concentric ring/plain lid options, and drain cock facilitate straightforward operation, sample handling, and easy cleaning, supporting busy laboratory workflows.
FAQ's of Serological Water Bath:
Q: How does the serological water bath ensure temperature accuracy and uniformity?
A: The water bath uses either a digital microprocessor-based or a hydraulic capillary controller for precise thermostatic regulation. This, combined with immersion heater technology and superior insulation (glass wool or PUF), ensures uniform temperature distribution with only 1C variation throughout the chamber.
Q: What safety features are integrated in this water bath?
A: Safety is prioritized with over-temperature protection and a low water level cut-off. These mechanisms prevent overheating and equipment damage, while ensuring the safety of the user and maintaining sample integrity during operation.
Q: When should I use the stainless steel concentric rings or plain lid?
A: Use the concentric ring lid when you need variable hole diameters to accommodate different test tubes or vessels. The plain lid is ideal for larger or irregularly shaped containers. Both options facilitate minimal heat loss and flexible sample arrangements.
Q: Where can this water bath be installed in my laboratory?
A: With its table top mounting and compact dimensions (model dependent), the water bath is designed for easy placement on laboratory benches, making it suitable for most laboratory, clinical, or biochemical workstations.
Q: What is the process for cleaning and maintaining the water bath?
A: Routine cleaning involves draining water using the fitted drain cock, removing trays or racks, and wiping down the stainless steel inner chamber with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Regular maintenance includes checking water levels, inspecting the immersion heater, and verifying that safety features are operational.
Q: How does the double-walled construction benefit laboratory operations?
A: The double-walled construction, with a stainless steel inner chamber and insulated outer wall, minimizes heat losses and enhances energy efficiency. This design ensures safer external surfaces and consistent internal temperatures, supporting sensitive laboratory processes.
