About Vacuum Oven

Vacuum Oven

Available with us is a wide range of vacuum oven that has durable construction with seamless welds and strong bracing. These are manufactured using 304 stainless steel chamber for exceptional durability and have true vacuum valves that are built of brass that use Ptfe seats to prevent leaks. Our double plenum design exceeds CE safety requirements resulting in a cool outer surface. The doors of the oven have positive latch handles with spring-loaded glass to facilitate a good vacuum seal without hinge binds that shorten the gasket life. The selection of gaskets (for specific applications) and a small bench top footprint enhance the versatility of our ovens.   Our organization was the first in the industry to bring square vacuum ovens. Our unique cross-flow ventilation forces inert gas to fill the entire chamber.

Exceptional Vacuum and Temperature Control

Achieve precise temperature regulation from 50C to 200C thanks to the capillary thermostat, with uniform heat delivered by powerful Nichrome wire heaters. Capable of reaching a high vacuum level up to 30 in Hg (~760 mm Hg), this oven offers reliable performance for demanding laboratory applications.

Safe and Durable Double-Walled Construction

The oven's inner chamber is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel (SS304), while the sturdy mild steel exterior is finished with powder coating. The double-walled design, paired with high-density glass wool insulation, maintains temperature consistency and ensures user safety during operation.

User-Friendly Features for Versatility

It comes equipped with two adjustable stainless steel shelves, a large tempered glass observation window for safe process monitoring, and an easily accessible vacuum release valve. Its semi-automatic operation and analog display make it convenient for laboratory personnel.

FAQ's of Vacuum Oven:

Q: How does the vacuum oven achieve uniform heat distribution during operation?

A: The oven utilizes Nichrome wire heaters positioned strategically, combined with high-density glass wool insulation and double-walled construction. These features work together to distribute heat evenly throughout the stainless steel inner chamber, ensuring consistent results for drying, degassing, and sterilization processes.

Q: What types of laboratory processes can be performed with this vacuum oven?

A: This vacuum oven is designed for laboratory drying, degassing, and sterilization. Its precise temperature and vacuum control make it suitable for delicate sample preparation, moisture removal, and other controlled atmosphere procedures common in scientific, pharmaceutical, and industrial laboratories.

Q: When should I use the vacuum release valve provided with the oven?

A: The vacuum release valve is used after the process is complete and you wish to safely return the internal chamber pressure to atmospheric levels. Activating this valve before opening the oven door helps prevent sudden pressure changes, ensuring both user safety and sample protection.

Q: What benefits does the tempered glass observation window offer?

A: The tempered glass window allows users to monitor their samples without having to open the oven, thereby maintaining the internal vacuum and temperature. This see-through feature enhances safety and process control, reducing exposure to temperature and pressure fluctuations.

Q: Where should the oven be placed for optimal performance and safety?

A: For best results, position the vacuum oven on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated laboratory area, away from direct sunlight and sources of moisture. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the device for heat dissipation and easy access to power, vacuum, and release connections.

Q: How do I adjust the internal shelves to accommodate different sample sizes?

A: The vacuum oven includes two adjustable stainless steel shelves. These can be repositioned or removed entirely to make room for larger or differently shaped items, offering flexibility depending on your laboratory requirements.

Q: What are the key safety features built into this vacuum oven?

A: This model integrates several safety features, including over temperature protection, a vacuum release valve, and a durable silicone rubber gasket for vacuum sealing. The powder-coated mild steel outer body and handle also minimize the risk of burns and accidental contact with hot surfaces.
