Superior Air Purification SystemAchieve consistent ISO Class 5 air cleanliness with a HEPA filter that captures up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. This ensures a sterile workspace, ideal for sensitive laboratory and pharmaceutical operations where contamination control is critical.
Convenient Workstation DesignWork comfortably on a 304 grade stainless steel perforated table, with a lift-up acrylic front door offering easy access and clear visibility. The unit features a practical digital display for monitoring airflow and pressure, supporting accurate process control.
Reliable and Safe OperationsBenefit from a quiet environment with noise levels below 65dB and electrical overload protection for user safety. The powder-coated mild steel cabinet offers durability, while temperature control up to 50C and semi-automatic functionality simplify operation.
FAQs of Laminar Air Flow:
Q: How does the Laminar Air Flow system maintain high air cleanliness levels in laboratories?
A: This Laminar Air Flow unit uses pre-filters (5 micron, washable synthetic) and a 4-inch HEPA filter with 99.97% efficiency for removing particles 0.3 microns. Combined with horizontal or vertical airflow and UV-C germicidal lamp, it conforms to ISO Class 5 standards for ultra-clean environments.
Q: What are the main benefits of using the LabAerFlo-1206 model for research or pharmaceutical applications?
A: Key benefits include exceptional particle removal efficiency, minimized contamination risk, low operational noise, digital airflow/pressure monitoring, and robust temperature control up to 50C. These features promote reliable, safe, and sterile working conditions for critical applications.
Q: When and where can the Laminar Air Flow system be used effectively?
A: This equipment can be deployed in laboratories, research institutes, and pharmaceutical facilities whenever sterile environments are required. It is suitable for tasks such as sample preparation, tissue culture, and quality testing where cleanliness is paramount.
Q: What safety features does the Laminar Air Flow system offer for laboratory operators?
A: The unit provides overload electrical protection, safe power connection via a 3-pin industrial plug, and an acrylic lift-up door to prevent exposure to contaminants. Quiet operation and powder-coated steel construction further enhance user safety and comfort.
Q: How do you operate and maintain the airflow and filtration process?
A: Operation involves starting the blower motor to regulate airflow velocity between 0.30.5 m/s, as displayed digitally. Filters should be checked regularly; the synthetic pre-filter is washable, while the HEPA filter should be replaced periodically to maintain efficiency. UV-C lamp and lighting are also managed as per process requirements.
Q: What types of laminar airflow does this model provide, and how do they differ?
A: The LabAerFlo-1206 supports both horizontal (90 CFM) and vertical (70 CFM) airflow. Horizontal systems direct air parallel to the work surface, ideal for protecting products, while vertical systems move air downwards, offering more protection for personnel working inside the cabinet.
Q: Why is a digital display important for laboratory airflow equipment?
A: A digital display ensures real-time monitoring of airflow velocity and pressure, allowing users to verify optimal operating conditions and promptly detect anomalies, thereby maintaining a stable, controlled, and compliant laboratory environment.
