Widefield Group ViewingThis projection microscope features a large, frosted glass screen, approximately 150 mm in diameter, which is perfect for group viewing during classes or demonstrations. The tiltable screen allows for angle adjustment, ensuring all participants have a clear perspective of the magnified specimen.
Precision Stage and OpticsEquipped with coaxial XY stage controls and achromatic objectives (10x, 40x, 100x oil immersion), this microscope provides smooth, accurate slide movement and crisp optical projection. The mechanical stage comes with sturdy clips to secure slides during observation.
Robust Design for Reliable OperationConstructed from powder-coated cast metal, the microscope offers excellent stability and longevity. The anti-vibration base and adjustable illumination (Tungsten or LED, 6V/20W) enhance viewing conditions, making it suitable for intensive educational and analytical use.
FAQs of Projection Microscope:
Q: How is the image projected for group viewing with this microscope?
A: The microscope projects a magnified real image of the specimen onto a frosted glass screen (approximately 150 mm in diameter), allowing multiple viewers to observe simultaneously. This makes it ideal for classrooms and group demonstrations.
Q: What is the process for adjusting focus and positioning slides?
A: Users can adjust focus using separate coarse and fine focusing knobs. The XY mechanical stage offers coaxial controls with a movement range of about 70 mm 30 mm, enabling precise and smooth slide positioning for optimal specimen examination.
Q: When should a projection microscope be used instead of a standard microscope?
A: A projection microscope is particularly advantageous when demonstrations or explanations to a group are required, such as in educational settings, training workshops, or collaborative laboratory analysis, where shared visual access is essential.
Q: Where can this microscope be used effectively?
A: This microscope is suitable for use in schools, colleges, research laboratories, and training centersessentially any environment where group viewing of microscopic specimens is necessary for teaching or collaborative purposes.
Q: What are the primary benefits of the mechanical stage and tiltable screen?
A: The mechanical stage allows precise slide movement and secure holding with its provided clips, making specimen navigation simple and steady. The tiltable projection screen lets viewers adjust the angle for the most comfortable and clear group observation.
Q: What optical components are included for high-quality magnification?
A: The microscope features achromatic objectives (10x, 40x, and 100x oil immersion) paired with a 10x projection eyepiece. Together, these provide an effective magnification up to 1000x with clear, color-corrected images projected onto the screen.
Q: How is illumination managed, and what spare parts are available?
A: Illumination is supplied by a built-in sub-stage lampeither a 6V/20W Tungsten or LED lampwith adjustable brightness. Spare parts such as projection bulbs, fuses, stage clips, and extra objectives are available to ensure uninterrupted operation.
